"Dear Brad (Auto-Detail), My Mercedes is now ten years old, but does not look its age. The only giveaway is the fact that it does not have the latest style of headlamps. I hope to keep it for at least another five years. Your continued professional care and attention to the bodywork will help this. When our car is parked, it always draws admiring glances from other owners, many of whom have much younger cars than mine. It is a great pleasure to deal with a business run directly by an enthusiastic owner, and I hope I shall remain one of your satisfied customers for many years to come. "A letter to the Editor of BMW CAR Magazine, printed in May 2007 issue. Sirs I have just read James Lance letter you published re protecting his new M coupe paintwork. I have just take delivery of my new Z4 3.0si Sport Coupe in Black Sapphire metallic paint. I also was advised by the dealer to have a paint work protection system applied, but having had SEVERE problems in the past with an application of Diamond-Brite on a brand new Aston Martin DB7 I bought in 2002 declined their offer! Last week a young man called Brad Stevens who trades under the name of Auto-Detail (www.auto-detail.co.uk) did the most professional and amazing polish/protection/laquer job on the car (including the Alloys) I have ever seen. Not only has he made the metallic flakes stand out in the paint giving enormous depth to the finish, but the completed application is like "glass" beading any water instantly it comes in contact with the car. I won't even attempt to describe the process but perhaps you could forward this e-mail to Mr Lance. I am sure if he wishes to contact Brad and dicuss the matter he will be given the sound advise and options that were given to me, resulting in an astonishing end result by a young man who is gaining a highly recommended reputation.
